This Cleaning Equipment Hire Agreement template set outs the terms and conditions of hire for use when hiring out cleaning equipment without an operator to a business customer (B2B). Suitable for use where the Owner and Hirer are both in the UK.

This legal agreement is suitable for use when hiring out a wide range of cleaning equipment including:

  • upholstery and curtain cleaners
  • floor sweepers
  • scrubbers
  • scrubber driers
  • floor polishers.

The agreement says that the Owner is not required to provide training and the Hirer is responsible for safe and correct use of the cleaning equipment. The period of rental can be either fixed or open-ended with a notice period. The cleaning equipment can only be used in the UK and only by the Hirer except with permission of the Owner. The terms and conditions allow for the Owner to collect a deposit from the Hirer and for the equipment to be collected and returned either by the Owner or the Hirer.

A Quotation and Acceptance section is also included. The Quotation section allows you to set out details of the Hirer's rental (such as which itenms of cleaning equipment are being hired, price, period of rental) along with your standard terms and conditions. A legally binding rental contract is made once the Acceptance section is signed by the Hirer and Owner.
