An AT6 form is used by a landlord to recover possession of a Short Assured Tenancy in Scotland where a condition of the lease has been broken.

An AT6 form is legally required to be sent to the tenant by the landlord to terminate a Short Assured Tenancy in Scotland when relying upon any of the 17 grounds contained in the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988 (e.g. rent arrears, antisocial behaviour etc).

The AT6 form must be sent with a Notice to Quit.
