These documents set out the standard terms and conditions of the provision of services for a residential property surveyor supplying services to a client. This pack includes two versions (also sold individually):

These documents are for use when the service being provided is the survey of a residential property in the form of either a building survey or a mortgage valuation survey and the production of a report containing details of your findings. The report may contain a market valuation and/or reinstatement cost for the property, depending on the type of survey being conducted and the instructions of your client.
Both versions of the survey document include an optional application form so that you can give your client written details of their survey job (including the services you will provide, details of the property, details of who should receive copies of the report, your fees and expenses, terms of payment etc.) along with your standard terms and conditions.
You, the surveyor, need to bring your terms and conditions to the attention of your client in a manner that ensure they are incorporated into the contract between you and your client. If the terms and conditions are set out on the reverse of the application document then you should also think about adding a reference on the front page to your terms and conditions on the reverse.
