These documents set out the standard terms and conditions of an agent providing services to a client seeking to hire an entertainer and to entertainment artists seeking work. Our pack includes two T&Cs documents: one for use between the agent and a client and one for for use between the agent and an artist.

These terms and conditions are suitable for an agent acting in the capacity of an employment agency where the client pays the agent a booking fee for the services the agent provides in securing an artist. The client pays the artist directly. The artist must be over 18 years of age.

When acting as an entertainment agency the agent acts as a representative for self-employed entertainers working as solo performers. The agent is not a party to the contract between the client and the entertainer an and can't be held responsible for non-payment of fees or non-fulfilment of bookings. This needs to be made clear on the booking form.

Where the entertainer is an actor, background artist, dancer, extra, musician, singer or other performer, they have the right to cancel or withdraw from the contract within 30 days of concluding it. If they do this, they won't have to make any payment under the contract. The artist must be informed of their right to cancel or withdraw before entering into the contract.

Special provisions apply to children's entertainers, including disclosure requirements and rules regarding the number of adults needed at performances, and are not covered by these terms and conditions.
