You can make minor alterations to your Will without having to draft a new Will by using a document called a Codicil. Codicils confirm a previous Will document but make a few changes.
If a small number of changes are required it is a simpler alternative to re-writing the entire Will. By using a Codicil any of the details in the Will can be changed.
This codicil can be used to change a gift already left in your Will to a named person e.g. you may wish to increase or decrease a gift of money to that person.
