You can make minor alterations to your Will without having to draft a new Will by using a document called a Codicil. Codicils confirm a previous Will document but make a few changes. For use in the UK.
If a small number of changes are required it is a simpler alternative to re-writing the entire Will. By using a Codicil any of the details in the Will can be changed.
This codicil can be used to appoint another executor, either because the original Executor has died or because you simply want to appoint someone else instead.
For use in England and Wales.
