Which document version should I choose?

The document you have chosen is available in two file formats:

Word Template (.dot)

Documents in this format are Word templates i.e. a file suffix of .dot. and need to be installed to a particular folder (we provide full instructions on how to do this). Once installed, the Clickdocs Wizard will help guide you through the process of customizing your document. This version is a good choice if you intend to use the document more than once.

Choose this version if:

• You are using Microsoft Windows (any version) on a PC (NOT Mac O/S), and
• You have Microsoft Word 2000 (or later) installed.

If you're not sure which version of Word you have you can check by launching Word and then selecting "Help" from the menu followed by "About Microsoft Word".

Word Document (.doc)

Document in this format are"normal" Word documents i.e. a file suffix of .doc. This is the type of Microsoft Word document that most people are familiar with: you simply open the document in Word and type. This version is compatible with all versions of Microsoft Word and is the ONLY version suitable for use with Mac versions of Microsoft Word. This version does not include the Clickdocs Wizard.

Choose this version if:

• You are using a Mac computer (running Mac O/S), or
• You are running Windows (any version) and your version of Microsoft Word is Word97 (or earlier), or
• You are using Microsoft Works, Open Office, Star Office or another word processor that can load standard Microsoft Word documents, or
• You're not very familiar with computers, or
• You don't want the Word Template (.dot) version.
