SAP1 Form - Why I cannot pay you Statutory Adoption Pay
This SAP1 form,
issued by HM Inland Revenue & Customs, is used to tell an employee
why they do not qualify for Statutory Adoption Pay (SAP).
An employee may
not be eligible to receive SAP if:
- employee has not been employed for long enough
- employee's earnings are too low
- employee has not given adequate notice
- employee has not provided acceptable evidence of entitlement
- employee was detained in custody on or after the first day of the SAP period
- employee worked (for any employer) during the SAP period
- employee received Statutory Sick Pay.
