These documents set out the standard terms and conditions of the provision of services where you, the recruitment agent, are supplying services on your terms to a client seeking to employ either temporary or permanent staff and between you and workers seeking employment. Further Information

We offer different documents for use when recruiting permanent staff and temporary staff. Both versions are included in our Recruitment Agency T&Cs Packs. The four documents included in the pack are:

When providing clients with workers on a temporary basis the recruitment agency will be employer and therefore responsible for paying the worker. When providing workers for permanent or fixed-term positions the client will become the worker's employer.

These documents are not suitable where the worker is an entertainer or performer. In these circumstances you should use our Entertainment Agency T&Cs.

You must bring your terms and conditions to the attention of the other party in a way which will allow them to be incorporated into the contract. If the terms and conditions are set out on the reverse of any proposal supplied to the client, you should always ensure you fax both pages of a double sided document and consider inserting a reference on the front page to your terms and conditions on the reverse.

All employment agencies, including recruitment agencies, must comply with the following legislation:

The Employment Agencies Act says that agencies must provide a clear statement of terms of business, including fee information, on receipt of an application for services from a client. It is, therefore, important that any application form should have a copy of the agency terms and conditions attached for the client to read and accept.

These documents set out the precise arrangements for the provision of services by an agent to a client wishing to hire either temporary or permanent staff including: temp to permanent fee, transfer and introduction fees, client assumes responsibilities as employer (permanent recruitment), agent assumes responsibilities as employer (temp recruitment), agent to obtain references, and timesheets (temp recruitment).

Both versions of the Recruitment Agency Terms and Conditions (Client) documents include the following clauses:

An optional registration form is also included so that you can provide your client with details of the registration (including the services you will provide, the fees for various types of placement, comission rates, terms of payment etc.) along with your standard terms and conditions.

Recruitment Agency T&Cs (Applicant)
These documents set out the precise arrangements for the provision of services by an agent to an applicant seeking either temporary or permanent work, including: information applicant must provide (i.e. details of work sought, qualifications, references), conduct of applicant, conduct of agent, timesheets, terms of employment for temporary recruitment (i.e. hours of work, holidays, statutory sick pay etc).

Both versions of the Recruitment Agency Terms and Conditions document (Applicant) include the following clauses:

An optional offer of representation form is also included so that you can provide the application with details of the representation (including the services you will provide, the type of work the applicant is seeking and their qualifications) along with your standard terms and conditions.
