Public law remedies are those procedures by which citizens can challenge the fairness or legality of their decisions.PLP seeks to tackle the barriers to effective and practical accountability for those who are excluded from the processes by which accountability is maintained.

Public Law Research Cluster at Leeds Univeristy has as its focus various broad themes which are then explored in a number of specific strands of research. This research on public law overlaps to some extent with research work in European comparative law and in criminal justice.
