Emma Moore, a personal trainer from Northamptonshire, is to sue a holiday company for damages following an injury she sustained while on a snowmobile trip. Mrs Moore was in the Paradiso Passo Tonale resort in January 2007 where she took part in a ‘ski-doo sensation’ trip. Despite the fact that she is an experienced skier Mrs Moore claims to have been paralysed from the chest down as a result of the accident.
Hotelplan Ltd, trading as Inghams Travel, offered the chance to ‘feel like 007 in the mountains during the snowmobile trip. However, Mrs Moore claims that she was given inadequate instructions and safety equipment. As a result, Mrs Moore is seeking £30,000 in compensation. The holiday company deny liability. |
