The ex-nanny of Heather Mills, Sara Trumble, has lost her case for unfair dismissal and sex discrimination against Sir Paul McCartney’s ex-wife. Trumble received £260 per week to look after Ms Mills’s daughter Beatrice but claimed that she was reduced to household chores only after returning from maternity leave. Ms Mills’ rejected these allegations stating that she only arranged for someone else to look after Beatrice when Trumble handed in her notice. She further claimed that the relationship between the two parties soured when she refused £4,000 to Trumble for a breast enlargement operation. Steven Vowles, the tribunal judge, dismissed the claims.

 A spokesperson for Ms Mills said "Heather is delighted with the decision of the Employment Tribunal that has dismissed all of Sara Trumble's claims. Heather was always a very fair and generous employer to Sara and is very pleased that this has been confirmed by Judge Vowles and the tribunal members unanimously in the judgment."
