Alex Frowd, a delivery driver with Hex Holdings in Tremorfa, Cardiff has been awarded over £3000 by an employment tribunal for unfair dismissal. Mr Frowd had complained of bullying and reported to the tribunal that the office manager said he ‘stank of body odour, bullied him and was very aggressive towards him. He alleged that despite having a good relationship with the office manager when he joined the company three years before she went on to treat him like a servant and regularly shout at him. The Office manager denied the claims and stated that Mr Frowd had never made such allegations while he was working at the company. She stated that he was regularly caught parked instead of working.

The tribunal found that proper procedures had not been followed by the company when sacking Mr Frowd and awarded him compensation on this basis for unfair dismissal.
