Maternity Policy
A maternity policy describes the rights
of female employees to take maternity leave and to resume employment
on return. Maternity leave includes the period of time leading up
to the birth of a child and afterwards.
This maternity
policy is suitable for use in England, Wales and Scotland for employees whose baby is expected on or after 5th October 2008 and includes
the following clauses:
- leave entitlement
- rights during leave
- maternity pay
- notification of absence
- change of leave dates
- return to work
- keeping in touch
- rights on return.
