This Last Will and Testament form is suitable for: a single person with no children, a married person with no children or an unmarried person without children living with their partner.
In each case where the testator (the person making the will) wishes to leave all or the majority of their assets to either: one beneficiary (e.g. their husband/wife/partner or a named beneficiary) and thereafter to another named beneficiary in the event of the first named beneficiary dying before the testator, or to a number of named beneficiaries in equal shares.
An option is included to leave gifts (of money or property) to other named persons and/or charities. It is designed for use in estates where inheritance tax advice is not required and where the legacies are straightforward.
