Invoice
This Invoice template
allows you to create your own business invoices, suitable for billing
customers. Getting your invoicing system and payment terms right can
be the key to a healthy cashflow. There is certain information that
the law requires you to put on invoices you send to your customers.
Limited companies must have the following information on their invoices:
- the full company name as it appears on the certificate of incorporation
- any business name used in your business
- an address where any legal documents can be delivered.
Limited companies may also include the names of the directors on their invoices if they
wish.
A sole trader must have the following information on invoices:
- any business name being used if the surname of the sole trader is not being used
- an address where any legal documents can be delivered.
If you are registered for VAT you must also put
your VAT registration number on your invoices regardless of whether
you are a sole trader or a limited company.
This Invoice template is suitable for use
in England, Scotland and Wales allows you to insert:
- your business details
- customer's name and address
- invoice number
- items supplied
- subtotal excluding VAT
- total VAT
- delivery charges
- total including VAT
- payment details.
