Ground 2 Notice
If a property being
let as a Short Assured Tenancy is subject to a mortgage, the mortgage
lender will inevitably make it a condition of consenting to the let
that a Ground 2 notice is served.
This document notifies
the tenant that the property is subject to a mortgage and that the tenancy
may be terminated before the end of its agreed term if, as a result
of the landlord not making the mortgage payments, the mortgage lender
now wants to sell the property to cover the landlord's debts.
The Ground 2 Notice is suitable for use in
Scotland and should be served on the tenant before the creation
of the tenancy.
This document is available individually or
as part of a Property
Annual Subscription or Full
Annual Subscription - giving you access to wide range
of documents, packages and forms for a single annual fee. It is
also provided in the Tenancy
Package for Scotland.
