A Demonstration Licence Agreement allows a single user to use evaluation or demonstration software either downloaded from a website or where the software is made available on diskette, CD or DVD (i.e. in a boxed or otherwise packaged fashion, also known as "shrink-wrap"). There is no fee for the software.
Where the software is provided in "shrink-wrap" form, it is recommended that the disk envelope be sealed with a non-removable label with a warning such as "Warning. Before breaking the seal on this disk envelope and loading the software you must read and accept the terms of the licence accompanying it." The Demonstration Licence should be within the packaging or documentation where the user can easily access and read it.
