Deed of Assignment (Tenancy)

This Deed of Assignment can be used where an existing tenant or tenants wish to leave a property prior to the date of termination of an Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement and assign the tenancy to a replacement tenant or tenants.

This Deed is suitable for use in England and Wales but can only be used where a clause in the original Tenancy Agreement allows assignment of the tenancy, and is supplementary to that Tenancy Agreement.

• outgoing tenants
• remaining tenants
• replacement tenants
• address of property
• date of original tenancy agreement.
