These documents are for use when the service being provided is the survey of a commercial property in the form of either a building survey or a valuation survey and the production of a report containing details of your findings. The report may contain a market valuation or market rent for the property, depending on the type of survey being conducted and the instructions of your client.

Both terms and conditions templates include an application form so that you can provide your client with details of their survey job (including the services you will provide, details of the property, details of who should receive copies of the report, your fees and expenses, terms of payment etc.) along with your standard terms and conditions.
You need to bring your terms and conditions to the attention of your client in such a way as to allow them to be incorporated into the contract. Normal practice is to print your terms and conditions on the reverse of the application form. Commercial Building Survey T&Cs
A building survey for a commercial property is commonly used prior to the sale or lease of the property. The report produced gives an insight into the general condition and specific repairs that relate to the property. A valuation can also be incorporated into the report.
This survey T&Cs documents sets out the arrangements for under which a chartered surveyor will conduct an inspection of a commercial property for the purpose of a building survey including: inclusion (or not) of market valuation of property, use (or not) of photographs, professional indemnity insurance, client responsible for obtaining consents/approvals, and compliance with Data Protection requirements.
Commercial Valuation Survey T&Cs
This type of survey is not a building survey and is typical required if a mortage on the property is being sought. Valuation of a commercial property can also be required in relation to preparing company accounts, probate, rent reviews or lease renewals. The report produced by the surveyor conducting a valuation survey contains a market valuation and/or market rent of the property.
