Form AT6
To legally terminate
a Short Assured Tenancy in Scotland at the expiry of the tenancy, the
landlord must send the tenant three forms: an AT6 form, a
Notice to Quit and a Section
33 Notice.
The required period of notice for serving form AT6 is 2 months.
It is recommended
that all three forms are sent at the same time by recorded delivery.
The notices must be sent at least 2 months before the tenancy
is due to end. If you don't meet that deadline, the tenant may be legally
able to stay on in the house after the agreed date of termination.
This form is also provided in our
Tenancy
Package for Scotland priced at £35.25 including VAT. The
package includes both versions of our Tenancy Agreement, Repairing Standard Letter, AT5, AT6, Ground 2 Notice, Notice to Quit, Section 33 Notice, and Inventory
(saving you more than £45 compared to buying the documents
individually).
This form is free when ordered individually.
